Project Rescue: Our team took over a failing ERP systems implementation and integration of a company-wide Oracle ERP application across their 150+ global business units. This monumental task provided the organization with its first-ever holistic view of their operations on one system. We ensured the system adhered to standardized best practices, yet remained adaptable enough for local units to configure it to their specific needs. This critical project not only achieved complete transparency and streamlined operations, but even though they were a year behind schedule and consumed 40% of their budget when we took over the project, we finished a month ahead of the original schedule and right on budget, showcasing our expertise in large-scale, global technology implementations.

Preparing for Innovation: Orchestrated a complex, global dual-track project.  While migrating the existing systems from SAP ECC to the powerful S/4 HANA platform, we simultaneously integrated data and processes from 12 newly acquired companies. This ensured a smooth transition to the latest technology while folding in the new entities. The project prepared the client for their next stage of product innovation by ensuring their business systems was adaptable to their ever-changing environment. 

3 onto 1: We streamlined operations by migrating a mid-sized client to a brand new instance of NetSuite.  This wasn't a simple upgrade – it involved seamlessly integrating data and processes from 3 separate global businesses, each with their own, customized versions of NetSuite. Our team ensured a smooth transition, consolidating operations onto a single, unified platform while preserving the unique functionalities of each acquired business. 

Unlocking Hidden Potential: We partnered with a new CEO at a small contract manufacturing firm to evaluate their overall operations. Our analysis revealed significant under-utilization of existing assets. By collaborating with their new CEO, we developed a strategic plan to optimize production processes and maximize resource allocation.  Within 12 months, the implementation of these strategies resulted in a remarkable doubling of their revenue, showcasing our ability to identify hidden potential and drive significant business growth.

Cloud Transformation: We partnered with a new CIO to embark on their transformative journey. Their 12,000 person company relied on a proprietary applications built on an AS/400 platform dating back to the 1980s.  This posed significant security risks, limited scalability, and hindered innovation. We designed a comprehensive cloud migration strategy, transitioning them to a robust suite of cloud-based applications. This included Workday for HR and Financials, Microsoft DevOps for streamlined software development, and other best-in-class cloud solutions. This modernization not only enhanced security and scalability, but also empowered the company with increased agility and access to cutting-edge technology, positioning them for future success.

Data Integrity: We were called in by a global CPG company experiencing a major clog in their supply chain.  Their recently implemented SAP system, still under migration, was riddled with data and configuration issues, hindering their ability to fulfill orders and distribute products. We quickly deployed a team of experts to diagnose the problem.  Our in-depth analysis pinpointed the data inconsistencies and configuration errors. Working collaboratively with the CPG team, we implemented a multi-pronged approach, cleansing and standardizing data while fine-tuning system configurations. This swift intervention cleared the backlog, restoring smooth operations and product distribution.  Within weeks, the CPG company regained control of their supply chain, showcasing our ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and deliver rapid results.

Digital Transformation: We partnered with a private equity-backed services company to fuel their journey towards an Initial Public Offering (IPO) or "liquidity event." Recognizing the importance of a robust digital foundation, we embarked on a comprehensive transformation program. This included the development of new, user-friendly mobile applications to enhance customer experience.  Furthermore, we implemented a state-of-the-art SAP ERP system, streamlining operations and providing valuable financial insights.  To optimize efficiency, we also revamped their Transportation Management System, ensuring seamless logistics and cost control. This digital transformation not only improved operational efficiency but also positioned the company as a technologically advanced competitor, significantly enhancing its attractiveness to potential buyers.

In a fiercely competitive mobile phone market, a leading provider needed to act fast to optimize costs and try to regain its edge. We partnered with them to implement a rapid turnaround strategy.  Our team tackled multiple areas: renegotiating contracts to secure better terms,  discontinuing the use of under-utilized technology, and right-sizing the organization through restructuring.  By streamlining operations and eliminating unnecessary expenses, we delivered significant cost reductions.  The impact was a staggering $250 million slashed from annualized costs. This swift and decisive action helped prolong the inevitable in the highly competitive landscape, showcasing our ability to deliver rapid results in challenging environments.

We assisted with a holding company seeking a radical business and digital transformation – becoming a fully digital, operating company. This ambitious project involved a complete overhaul of their business unit portfolio. Through a strategic combination of divestitures and acquisitions, we helped facilitate nearly 200 transactions over nine years. This meticulous portfolio reshaping ultimately yielded five distinct market groups, each transitioning to offer completely digital products.  This transformation extended beyond portfolio sculpting; it included deep integration across these newly formed groups and the digital transformation of their offerings.
